FNB has pushed to make their banking app user friendly, fast and easy to navigate. Great system with integrated security services such as fingerprint scanner and face ID authentication. As well as the app being data free you can use it without any data making it easy to do your banking anytime any place.

I prefer banking apps, internet banking feels unsafe, and banking apps have gotten pretty good

Maybe if ones phone has biometric authentication it's easier to use the app, but by the time I have typed the password on the app (slow, and then checking I haven't made a mistake), I have already typed it on the laptop quick quick and be busy with whatever transaction.

I prefer Internet banking. I avoid adding to many apps on my phone because the more apps you have the more data consumption

Internet banking as the keyboard is better on a laptop and the screen is easier to read. I guess the app is easier and if adding a new payment on internet banking the app is useful for authentication.

Mobile app is not used much, mainly to check balance or do emergency transfer. Mainly I bank off my internet banking.

I bank with Nedbank and I love their mobile and I use it as my main banking tool for payments, transfer, block my cars and etc.
