I shudder to think how your kids will turn out.
Why is that?
Why then do the majority of people who were in school in the 80's and early 90's (who got a hiding if they did wrong), then have a much better understanding of right and wrong as well as basic manners and behavior than the current crop of school leavers?
None of my friends from school days are scarred emotional wrecks from getting whacked, and as far as I know none are axe murderers either![]()
So we should keep perpetrating violence against children as a for of discipline simply because none of your school mates are axe murderers?
It's a pretty low bar is all I'm saying.
Because that is the way it's supposed to be. Animals do it as well. And there is a huge difference between discipline and abuse. All these SJW's worried about their little snowflakes is actually sad. Little do they know their kids are probably going to turn out as hippies, gender-confused, or so full of themselves that when the smallest bit of reality hits them, they fall apart.
It doesn't take an SJW to see that there are better options in terms of discipline.
This ^ many times over.
Six of the best was something of an achievement, almost an initiation, into being accepted when in boarding school.
The really bad ones were sent to reform schools, and most of them turned out fine.
Being beaten by authority figures as an achievement is a pretty sad reality tbh. You may not agree but I strive to be a trusted person with a healthy relationship with my kids. What you describe seems needlessly bleak.
