Wired.

When I was still a student I used Logitech cordless desktops and it would ALWAYS crap out when you were in the middle of a LAN game, resulting in a much rage and storming through whomever's house we were at looking for remote controls to pillage their batteries.

Then I grew up and switched to good old fashioned Microsoft wheel mice.

Also had a wireless mouse let me down at some inopportune moments but that was in the days when batteries lasted perhaps a month. These days I see wireless mice where the batteries lasts many months. Still, I do not mind the wire and don't like the on-going costs of the batteries. Even if it is two batteries twice a year batteries go for R10 each these days. Over a 5 year period it adds up to more than I would pay for a wired mouse. So at work I have a wired dell mouse, at home a V2 bloody gaming mouse. Must say I like the braided cord on the gaming mouse much better than the typical plastic ones on the generic MS and Dell mice.

Wireless, unless I forget to charge it for a few days, then I run it wired or plug it in for 10 mins to charge

I actually use both. As usual, the poll is incomplete, not allowing for all the possibilities, which are

1. Wired
2. Wireless
3. Both
4. Neither

Wired at home base, wireless when traveling. Problem is that wireless mouse often needs a kick in the pants when it suddenly stops working. But that's better than traveling with a wired mouse.

Buy some rechargable batteries and a charger...

Edit: for home wireless and at work wired.
