A compelling yet sobering watch for programmers, data & machine learning engineers and anyone else interested in this stuff. Can be found on BBC iPlayer too.

I would say it's relevant as ever in that It's not overly technical, but more of a general philosophical view on where AI development is taking the world and the implications if the powers that be do not keep a lid on things - like AI machines being able to learn how to learn and the devs having no idea what is actually going on with the code because it's so complex.

This is even more pertinent seven years on from this doc considering the exponential development of tech.

I see it features Ilya Sutskever. I recently listened to this podcast (
) about OpenAI that spoke of his battle with Sam Altman.
