I read Bruce Dickinson's book What Does this Button Do, and the story of how they played an concert in a locked-down war zone was astonishing. No fanfare or virtue-signalling afterwards. Rode in on an old bus through the war zone, played and left.

Nuts isn't it? I think it speaks to how Gen Zs and younger (the social media generations) are very much disconnected from reality and lack a real sense of identity and purpose in life....the fact that people look up to some of these influencers is beyond me.

Started watching last night, the fact that people look up to some of these influencers is beyond me.
To be fair they are just grifters running the current grift, people like that have been around since the beginning of time.Nuts isn't it? This is an interesting watch too along the same lines as Manosphere.
That seems pretty dubiousThe Story of Everything
Funny that the first dude that appears in the clip, when you google him, was on the run from the law and was recently arrested.Loading…

So I watched the documentary, the only person I recognised from the Manosphere was Myron mainly due to his clips going viral. To be fair they are just grifters running the current grift, people like that have been around since the beginning of time.
Albeit they have a lot more reach now with the internet but the basic premise and modus operandi is the same.

Louis is dishonest.
Background: I think in 2019, I came across the term Incel here on one of the mybb threads. Had no idea what it meant. Did a lot of research. IMHO: Mainstream media villianised them without even bothering to understand these young men and teenage boys gripes/issues.
The manosphere is as broad as men interests, hence there is no central theme of manosphere.
Louis concentrated on what appears to be grifters and PUAs. This is my takeaway just from the documentary.
Problem is that mainstream media appears to use the term manosphere term to describe nearly any male youtuber/content creator thats offers advice to young men, especially where some content is about women.
I do acknowledge that there are content creators that focussed exclusively on women bad behaviour as reason men should not date/marry/enter into a relationship, but there are very few that spew hatred of women.
Then are many content creators that focussed on some aspect of men improving themselves whether it is financial, health, fitness etc.
Very few content creators actually focussed on drumming up hatred against women.
So the documentary falls short in my opinion as it not objective of the manosphere but seems to be a hit piece.
I did some searching and some of the content creators have fired back with their own rebuttals and longer videos apperently showing how Louis editted the video. Have not watched these videos. Probably have a look this weekend.

The manosphere is a varied collection of websites, blogs, and online forums promoting masculinity, misogyny, and opposition to feminism. Communities within the manosphere include men's rights activists (MRAs),[2] incels (involuntary celibates),[3] Men Going Their Own Way (MGTOW),[4] pick-up artists (PUA),[5] and fathers' rights groups. They are generally united in the belief that society is biased against men due to the influence of feminism, and that feminists promote misandry (hatred of men).[7] Acceptance of these ideas is described as "taking the red pill", a metaphor borrowed from the film The Matrix.
Your own link proves my point:I think you have an understanding of the term manosphere that doesn't correspond to how that term is used.
The wikipedia definition of manosphere -
The other dudes you're watching who don't create such content should be grateful nobody else is including them in the manosphere realm.
