Does anybody have an iPhone lying around?

I am looking for an iPhone 4 or newer to use to test some app's I am creating.
The iPhone will only be used indoors, and I need it for up to 2 months.
I will only update the firmware to latest with the owners consent, and if I required it.

Please put your iPhone to good use, and help me out!

Then you are official sh out of luck and/or at the mercy of stranger's good will like OP.

Its even worse on the Android front as there are way more devices that need to be tested.

But doesn't the iPhone one need to be tested and supported?
While with the Android one there is no need - and you can state what is supported/not supported?

On iOS it's more of an OS version thing, which sometimes means devices where performance might suffer or that device doesn't support the latest OS version. Apps in the app store show what they support (and sometimes have a warning that certain devices aren't supported).

Forgot to mention, I stay in Pretoria area.

Some features for iOS aren't available in the iPhone Simulator, such as Apple Push Notifications, so for testing things like that an actual device is required.

You can also get an older iPod touch. It's basically an iPhone without the calling capabilities. You can test all your notifications etc on that just like you would on the iPhone.

Seems like a much more affordable alternative approach. However I have no use for an iPod Touch other than the apps. I am not at all a fan of iTunes and it's lack of support for flac.
