Does anyone still use LinkedIn?

Give it another few months as painful as it is and use their training budget. Job market is pitiful at the moment, might pick up after financial year ends start rolling through

Would love to use their training budget, biggest issue is the things I want to brush up on don't have courses in SA :-(. But yeah only going to put out some feelers now, not going to commit, will hang on to see if bonus is anything to write home about.
But man it's the sheer boredom getting to me.
 
LinkedIn is and always be the most useless platform.

I have never ever received any interviews, or have hired from LinkedIn. For me it’s just another platform that had potential ( free ) then some ****ing idiot came along and decided to make money of it.

Don’t even get me started on PNET !?

It's horrible, every single job opportunity has a 100+ applications after a few minutes of being posted on LinkedIn, no chance to stand out especially if you don't meet the hiring companies "diversity" requirements. The only option these days is to network and know someone who knows someone, it's tough out there.
