Dog poisoning

Does your dog bark and disturb your neighbours peace?

There is nothing more irritating than a dog barking randomly throughout the day and night.
 
One of our dogs many years ago was a bad barker.
He barked all day and all night but there was nothing we could do.
We loved him regardless and he was such a happy soul.
We woke up one day to our entire outside wall painted with the words 'NOISY DOG NOISY DOG NOISY DOG DOG!!!'

About a week later he was poisoned and died with us holding him.
I was probably 13 or so at the time.

People are *******s.

But your neighbours had to put up with non stop barking? Are you serious?

Sort your dogs out. train them properly.

Nope my dogs rarely bark and the one who does is still alive and well and we are good friends with our neighbours.

The picture in the article was my dog Rex and my story was in there too and in the Witness.

I would be interested to see what your "ask nicely" is..

and no, dog people are not strange.. they're people just like everyone else, and they do care much as it might surprise you.

Dude, in the politest way I'll tell you to go **** yourself.
My mom was a single mother, I was a child.

We knew nothing about dog training or how to stop his barking.
He was loved by us as he was.
It sucked that he barked but no one came to talk to us.
They destroyed my mom's wall and then poisoned a family friend.
If you think that's acceptable then seriously, STFU.

We had this one neighbour who had yapping little dogs and would leave them out to make ours bark by the fence so they could throw crackers at our dogs.

We had to keep our dogs mostly on the veranda to keep them safe until they moved out thankfully and the barking stopped.

Luckily they never used poison, but they will be forever scared of bangs now.

So what exactly do you do when you are not asking nicely?

If you are condoning the poisoning of dogs then I hope you die in the slowest most painful way possible.

If he is the same guy who was here then it was his wife doing all the complaining, they eventually divorced.
