Don't upgrade your cellphone now

I'm due for an upgrade now. Thinking of getting the S3... currently have a Nokia N8... should I get the S3 or wait for the new PureView series?

Doubt it will even have most that the s3 already has,it will catch up but the problem is I cant really see it bringing much extra over rivals

Well but.... as Dolby is so fond of pointing out, the original iPhone was even behind rivals in a lot of features. I had an Axim pda with a 624mhz!!!!! processor which killed the 400mhz iPhone a year or more earlier. It's always been about the whole holistic thing, the rock-solidity and smoothness and apps, and general experience they bring to it.

Yes.. back then it was about iOS. Nobody can deny that was far ahead of everyone. Nowdays it's not. They have the same problem as MS Windows problem on their hands - so many entrenched customers and such a massive app base, it makes it difficult for them to make any significant changes to the OS without alienating large portions of them.
