Dota 2

It's amazing how some games, you can play with guys who take the game so so so so seriously, they also happen to abuse their mic and moan non-stop... and what do these particular individuals have in common - they often useless!

Message so those guys it's a game - yes we also want to win, no we're not intentionally dying, calm down, take a breath and rather assist than moan like a little school kid

Please post your dotabuff :)

Hmmm yeah, I don't play dota with any friends, I've learnt that lesson long ago :p

I still like jamming with fellow forum members, it can be very entertaining at times. Whether it's win/lose doesn't really matter all that much then, at least not for me.
Like that game we played together. Got a bit stomped by that SF but it was good fun :D

I'm a noob friend - and that's the whole point of me saying that the moaners are often as noob as me!

Wait.. please tell me you're not one of them!! :(

Would not class myself as a noob, no.

Edit: By our local standards, compared to the pros, dam straight I am a noob.

Yeah man, I still have no idea how that game went south so fast, I was under the impression our lane was doing well, I guess everything else elsewhere wasn't.

I have to admit, that is still something I need to work on, looking at other lanes trying to figure out if they doing ok or need assistance as I'm generally so immersed in the lane that I'm in that I sometimes forget :D

hahah! see, the problem is that what you judge it by, and newer players need the help.. not the bashing

Don't much play with new players, in my bracket everyone has 2000 hours plus. So when I complain it is because they have had 2000 hours to at least become competent players and haven't so when I tell them to rather play spider solitaire I feel I am justified in doing so.

Also I wanna see your dotabuff.

Deadmanza, the thing is, you have an understanding of how the game mechanics work, what needs to be done when and how in order to win the game. Most players do not have that "understanding", including myself.

I feel that is what sets normal average players apart from those that play the game better since the already know after the draft that this and that needs to happen before this time in order to win, or am I completely wrong here?

Purply, unfortunately... there are plenty of people spamming mic just throwing hate and telling you that you're useless and need to quit.. instead of rather helping and teaching..

For me, I don't believe there is a procedure that needs to be followed, rather, you need to adaptive in your game play, if a lane is struggling, adjust, if a lane is killing it, adjust - like I said, I'm definitely not a pro, maybe played around 1500 hours ... I have fun, yeah it gets frustrating when you loose.. but when you play with people who are fun, and by fun, I mean that they laugh and tell jokes, they do their best to win, but sometimes it's just not gonna happen, and they accept it and still make the most of the game... hell had a game like that the other night, made a point to add those guys so I could play with them again, because at the end of the day - I play to have fun, yeah, winning is fun - but hell, I've had some seriously bad defeats that were just as fun..

We stomped our lane hard. Windrunner got nothing. Kept needing the SK to come in just to stop us murdering her again and again.

Other lanes unfortunately went very badly. Our mid Huskar got destroyed by an SF. I'm still not sure exactly how that happened. Huskar should rape an SF if he keeps the harass up. If Huskar hits level 6 before SF then SF becomes food and those burning spears along with SF's low starting HP means he gets quite shredded when he moves in for last hits.

It was also our fault too. We were isolated up there farming and murdering. We weren't watching the map enough and didn't realise quite how badly the rest of the game was going. When that SF came top to gank I immediately assumed he'd had at best an average lane putting him far enough behind me on farm to allow me to burst him down. Oh how wrong I was. He'd been chowing down on Huskar and Timber for 10 minutes. :p

The problem is when you do try and help a guy out some of them just plain ignore you or they tell you they "got this".

I cant remember what happened but this one guy built a very stupid hero I couldnt see it working and he told me to stfu and we lost at the end of the day.

Ill try dig up that match.

I never tell anyone how to play their hero, I mean, I'm not even remotely good enough at the game myself, so who am I to tell others how to play.

When people criticize how I play I would generally thank them for their input and try to adjust accordingly if possible.

Yes sure I've stripped my moer on the off occasion, but then I just mute instead of flame.

I would however agree that taking a break from the game does wonders :)

Still on my sabbatical :P

When this league of POE ends might come back.

Sometimes you gotta make suggestions.

In this game http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/2333055182 dusa was being super hard late carry, impossible to kill until I suggested to void to get a diffusal.

After that every bubble she was dead and game was won.

Although I have to say it was a nice group of people.

For sure, making suggestions are always welcomed, however telling someone to do this and that isn't, there is a slight difference.

That does indeed look like one epic game, super long also!

Tsek, I already have you on my friends list, even watched a few of your games over the weekend.

I'd be surprised if there is more than one boerEsports on Dota :p

Hope your eyes did not bleed :D Sorry did not know it was you! You always online :D Will have a game together soon good sir!
