Never known their maths to fail, check again (there are about 3 itemised sections for usage and it's VAT excl). My monthly usage is about R50 on their invoice but they have an amount of R199. If I add up all the calls it comes to about R50. Somebody is making merry.
Same thing happened to me. But while checking this I also noticed that Telkom has been overcharging me by about R150 a month for my landline account. Sure there's an explanation for that, where does the R150 come from? Telkom's landline bill is very detailed.
I remember learning in Commercial Law years ago, that it's the payor's right to decide how they want to settle their debts / accounts. Anyone on the forum who can advise what the current law/s state/s ?
Keen to know if Telkom can be taken to task on this ... and forced to once again allow clients various means of settlement ?
Same thing here. I'm reluctant to do anything at this stage. If I pay Telkom again I'm worried they'll reverse their credit. Guess I'll have to go into their (surprisingly helpful) store to be sure.My bank reversed the debit, and then telkom reversed it sigh.
