Double billed by telkom

This has never happened to me before,

Was billed on the 3rd and 9th of Jan

What do I do? will they refund or only credit the account?

Left me in a very awkward financial position.
 
Festive is over and they(Telkom) dont have enough petrol money for the remainder of the month
 
We were also double deducted...

Surely there must be an avenue for customers to report such debit order abuse? It's unacceptable that a company can just debit order whatever they feel like whenever they feel like without any sort of repercussions.

Called Telkom

They are aware of it, they said they will reverse it or we the clients can ask the bank to reverse it.
 
I tried to phone them. Got this very clueless lady telling me I must phone back on Wednesday when the payment reflects.
Told her to Cancel my debit order immediately. I will EFT from now on every month.
 
I just reversed it from the bank. Telkom has any issues they can call me.
 
I hope telkom responds or mybb should do an article Double Billing Telkom Woes
 
Struggling to get my problem solved to :/

Moved my service ,new number and all.

Got billed two months in a row for an old number that does not even exist
 
We have asked Telkom for comment on the matter.

Which accounts are affected? Is it mobile contracts, ADSL/FIbre accounts, or landline accounts?
