DStv decoder, dish and installation price cut

What has changed now?
All the years before hand "Mono-choice" have ripped off their clients. Now when there is Competition, now they lower there prices.

The keyword being "seem", because even though the installation is cheaper, premium subscription is still R 500+ a month.
 
once TopTV manages to secure the major SA sports such as cricket, rugby, soccer and maybe some grand slams in tennis and golf, we'll see MC cry. I would say the biggest reason why I have the premium bouquet is because of the sport.

loving it too. and i see they have changed their focus too. they were all HD and premium that and extra charge over there. now discounts seem to be the order of the day. i hope those cheaper stocks last forever i.e. noone buys them :D

neotel didnt get the memo. they just figured they'll just screw us the same way the incumbent was always doing. and thats what toptv is doing differently: offering a cheaper alternative.
 
Installation cost is irrelevant when your paying nearly R600 month subs!!

Forgot to add, been playing with the new epg and a feature I really like is being able to build a favourites list and then with one button, being able to zap between only those channels on the list to check whats on, fantastic!
 
tactics like these will only make people hate you more.... get lost multichoice....

Top Tv's special installation price of R499 is R150 cheaper than Multichoices special price of R649.
 
I'm stuck with that dinosaur of a MNET decoder, I can't afford DSTV. I enjoy the sport, even though it's extremely limited on MNET and my wife enjoys the latest HBO series'... why oh why can DSTV not offer a more affordable satellite option that includes the MNET channel... instead of holding us to ransom... and if that's the attitude... then I say viva Top TV...

The audio/video quality on the archaic MNET decoder is rubbish compared to satellite!
