DSTV decoder error E19 every month on annual account

Every month around the 2nd or 3rd I get an E19 check your account balance error.

My account is paid annually and due 2nd January every year. Next one being 2020.

I tried the recommended USSD code to clear the error (which works fine). Before that though I checked the balance menu option first.

Said something like your account is overdue R4160 due 02/01/20.

Does DSTV employee any random person off the street to handle their IT?

Lies I had several errors last year on my Netflix Account, they all were strange playback errors and only required me to go back on and reselect the episode, could of just been an issue with the Windows 10 app but it was still a pretty common error for me

Your first mistake is using Win10.

Years ago when we had DSTV that $@&?*! error used to come up all the time
+ Extra view had a mind of it's own and often would not work even though we replaced cables and decoders.

We now stream from several computers around the house and everyone can watch what they want to watch when they want to all at the same time all the time.

And much cheaper than DSTV to boot ;-)

Self service and USSD didn't work today. Had to call them.

Idiots.

They gave me a Whatsapp number now to fix the error.
