DStv dropping four E-tv channels

*wonders rhetorically if DSTV also dropped their prices accordingly*...

DStv getting three new channels

MultiChoice has announced that it will be adding three new channels to its platform.

DStv subscribers can look forward to the launch of Dreamworks, a kid’s channel on DStv channel 304, and a new movie channel later this year.

They are constantly advertising Natgeo on TV and billboards but as you say they are still in SD, what’s the point.
 
We will takeaway multiple streaming, but you’ll get 3 new useless channels in exchange.
 
eTV was always known for their adverts with short breaks to show bits of a film. Are these eMovies channels still like that?

It's weird because Disney gives them a pretty good deal with ESPN.

Yes. Also the sound quality has always been terrible. Don't know how people can watch these channels.

MultiChoice is dropping four E-tv channels from the DStv platform on 1 April 2022, eMedia has announced.

“eMedia and MultiChoice have renewed a channel supply agreement in which Multichoice have opted not to carry certain eMedia channels, namely eMovies, eMovies Extra, eExtra and eToonz,” an eMedia spokesperson stated.

This is bad, eExtra is really enjoyed by our telenovela fans... I think they'll be losing a lot of subscribers..
