Do they broadcast the Formula1 in HD ? Only thing being watched in our house is Binnelanders, Grays, all the kids channels, Carte Blanche, BBC & CNN and of course Formula1. Would it still be worth while upgrading to HD ?

F1 from this season yes. Grey's yes, ktv yes but not channels 306 etc. Carte Blanche yes. Mnet channel 101 is basically all replicated in hd on equivalent channel 170. Personally I believe it is very worthwhile upgrading. Picture quality is superb.

Would love to get it!! Saw MNet HD at Tafelberg Furnishers on a Samsung LED TV and was very impressed.

Nope, you get a SATCR LNB which uses 1 cable and no need for twin lnb and multi-way switch

Do explain why you think its fail HD?

Pity DSTV only transmits in 1366x768 and not full 1920x1080. Although to be fair, there isn't too much in it when watching from a 42" screen.

The majority of HD broadcasters are only broadcasting in 720p or 1080i as 1080p uses too much bandwidth.
