DStv limiting concurrent streams from March 2022

Lol, if a business model was wiped off of someones arse, be sure that DSTV will use it ...... chops :laugh:
If they weren't so greedy, they could learn a thing or two from international sources instead but they love having fewer and fewer and dom customers

They are of the opinion that South Africans are too useless to find alternatives to their product, and that we are creatures of habit.

Lockdown, has taught a lot of us look further afield for our entertainment requirements. Waiting for Disney to arrive so I have another option to add to my rotation of services.

As more services become available locally, the content available to be licenced by DSTV will continue to shrink.

The problem is that many of us need to watch South African sport and unfortunately there are not much options. I'm pretty sure you can get streams of international sport for almost nothing.

I would not have minded if it were not for the lag but it's unbearable. It even happens with fast internet but I think the servers of streams are much slower if they are free.

Why do you need sport?

You'll be surprised set the amount of time you get back after quitting this addiction.

I was probably the biggest cricket fan. Would watch all major matches. Now I just catch the scores and have F1TV for F1. The first few weeks takes some getting used to but after that it's just liberating to not be controlled by it...

Catching the score afterwards isn’t the same for me. I want to see how someone bowled or how they batted, whether they've sorted out the weaknesses in their technique, what plan they used to get a big wicket, etc. None of that stuff is the same in the highlights.

I used to watch all the cricket on illegal streams, but without fail they ceased at the critical moments.
 
DSTV will lose more premium subscribers by doing this.I know guys that club in together to share the service. Lol they just fast tracked the death spiral they in

There aren't many who have a legitimate need to watch [SA] sport, the majority just want to.
