DStv Premium subscribers now get Showmax for free

3.2 The DStv Payment facility will allow a Showmax subscriber, who is also a DStv Premium subscriber, to add Showmax to their DStv account. In doing so, the subscriber will get Showmax included in their DStv Premium subscription. This offer terminates 31 March 2019, after which the prevailing monthly rate for Showmax will prevail.

The quality on ShowMax is a real problem. There are a good handful of decent shows I'd like to watch (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Billions, Ray Donovan, Taboo, Silicon Valley & Vikings off the top of my head), but the quality is unbearable. Both in a web browser and on TV.

Spot on. But the only show that was kark funny on showmax was Hung .. watch it :p

What you mean? My 3 year old daughter was watching Pepper Pig( not Halaal BTW) lol , and never complained about the quality. :D

Yep, the quality is pretty crap :( And doesn't seem to be in 5.1? I only get stereo...

What device are you streaming with?

From experience, Ipad and Playstation seem to have the best streaming quality.
 
Now if they could release a ROKU channel, that would be greeeeat

Are you serious? Trust Naspers to use their special dstv vomit edition encoding on showmax as well
