They should offer a sports bouquet for R199. Would not be surprised if they attract a heap of new subscriptions that would financially outweigh the fiscal loss from existing premium downgrades..

Given the cost of the sports, it wouldn't be viable for them I'm sure...

per whole tournament every match like the cricket worldcup normally going for R150 and you get some 1 day pass like soccer going for
R20 a day or every sport 1 day pass going for R50 .

No one should be surprised by these increases in April.

They have done this as long as they existed.

If memory serves they actually increased prices twice in one year a few years ago after the Rand/Dollar exchange rate took an unexpected nosedive.

And lose even more customers? With competition just on the horizon and so many people indicating they'll leave even without other options it's perplexing how they can do this year on year when they should have a decrease to gain customers.
