DStv streaming vs international services

Despite the widespread impression that the price of DStv Premium is too high for watching popular sports like rugby and cricket, it is still easier and more affordable than using international streaming services.

Furthermore, streaming services require an Internet connection. Factoring that cost into the equation further tips the scales in DStv’s favour.

The thing that 'tips the scales in DStv's favour' is something we already have, so no, you can't factor in that cost.

I'll let others tear apart the rest of this lipstick on a pig article.

I went the illegal route but ultimately decided to come back to DStv for the Supersport. Too much buffering and no PVR made things untenable. Just close your eyes and think about it as R30 a day, not bad.

So what the best alternatives for rugby ? I s the article correct
DSTV premium with satellite dish and PVR. You'll live longer than trying to find bootleg streams that just motherbuffer all the time. There really is no alternative.

Family of 5. Single stream. That’s the biggest problem for me. I really don’t mind paying for services, but this single stream thing just rubbed me up the wrong way.
For forever they allowed 4 devices iirc, then 2 devices for forever, now only one. It was great with dual view PVR decoders and 3 people could catch the cricket score at work. Now, they're just a swear word.
Multichoice should read this book:

But using VPN and DNS services to access content not available in ZA is pirating also.
Getting paid is a great incentive to create more content.

Personally, as a content creator, albeit of a different medium, that's more important to me than distribution rights.

Use it with a Maveric Media box then Tivi Mate for the player which costs R110 a year or something.
Then on the phone you can use any IPTV player you like they also have 4K for sky sports
