DSTV SuperSport Stream

Streaming from Supersport itself sucks, go stream from: now.dstv.com/LiveTv

I haven't encountered any issues in a VERY long time with that link. If it still isn't good, then get trial accounts from other ISP's and see if it's the same.
 
i just hate that every couple of days i must put in all my details again and logon :argh:
 
You get a better performance from the DSTV app and much better from the Supersport app.

To install
-Go to the Windows 10 store
-Write DSTV in search bar
-Click install

Same but with "supersport"

When the stream is completely dead on DSTV now and Supersport website its normally working fine on the windows 10 apps.
 
Looks like supersport have changed their player. I can also select the quality of the output.

Yea, through the supersport website.. AAAAARRRRGGGGH. The player is horrible. I have a 10 meg line and the stream keeps cutting out. Quality is very average as well. My stream died for 2 minutes and its back up.

DSTV app for watching? I just see a schedule app - no video.
 
Ive given up on the SS website. Stream is down again. Both dstv now and the SS website arent loading the stream. What a joke.
 
Hi Guys

Is it Supersport or Chrome because I can stream off the DSTV Now android app but not in Chrome or the Windows 10 Supersport App
 
Dont have windows 10 so cant comment, but just checked now and streaming via the SS website works on chrome.
 
Well I just discovered that with Supersport and dstv streaming dumping flash, I can now stream their encrypted streams in chrome on linux mint. With the flash streams I was forced to use firefox as chrome just wouldn't play them. It's an issue in Mint: https://www.linuxmint.com/rel_sarah_cinnamon.php

I suppose that's a good thing.
 
Now if only they would up the bitrate to go higher than SD 960x540 1200kbps. That's disgraceful.
 
I wish the DSTV now app worked like the Supersport app on my Minix..
 
Supersport stream of the Wales/Aus game is up to s**t! Keeps freezing and when you reload it, you get this nonsense!

Doesn't bode well for the SA/Baabaas game later. Useless bunch, really :mad:
 
What a lesson in frustration, just dies every couple minutes ...... people on FB also complaining
 
Exact same issues on windows. Locking up on Chrome yet fine on Android tablet app. Installed Firefox which downloaded something to support the stream on first attempt but eventually solved the problem. Firefox solved the issue for me.
