Mouse-over the signal strength bars on the CellC dash shows +/- 70% signal strength.

In that photo it looks identical to Poynting's LPDA-A0044.They don't give full specification for this antenna and measurements, so we cannot compare it with poynting.

Try Poynting's inductive coupler (ADPT-026), it works very well on the E1820.Need male connector for my small DIY antenna from TV, connecting it with untraditional methods improved my connection on double, but needs a connector.

I'm trying out a new pigtail from Poynting for the ZTE modems, so far have tried it on the K4505-Z and K3805-Z. In both cases there's a noticeable boost in the RSSI when connecting the pigtail, in my case about 20dBm. It works on the UMTS 900 and UMTS 2100 bands.
Unfortunately I don't have an inductive coupler to compare with right now (I gave mine to my father), but from memory the difference between using a direct connection (pigtail) and an inductive coupler is about 6dBm.I'm just curious, by comparison, what is the increase in signal strength when you use the inductive coupler on these modems?
