Easy Equities good or bad?

How did this thing work? When does everyone offload their GME?

You buy at 100usd then put a sell price of 10000usd and convince everyone to buy every available stock and hold so the short sellers can't get out at a reasonable price. Once the price starts sky rocketing the short sellers are forced to buy anything they can to stop the escalating price and you profit...
Its anlong shot though in my opinion. Still fun to watch the hedge fund squirm.

I need them to give us a better curated history on the app. I find myself having to go through my emails to find certain information on a stock. Clunky compared to trading 212, high latency so to speak.

I get the technical part, the part I don't quite get is the mob part. Sure, we can all club together to push the price up but at some stage we need to exit and if I wait till the back of the queue I'm going to get burnt.

You can draw a pdf report.

I agree - it should be easier to easily see what I've bought and sold and when I did it.

Another thing I don't like is that price charts only start from when a stock or product is added to the platform, which I then have search google for.

I think a lot of people from WSB bought on principle and not to necessarily make money. To act against the hedge funds and short sellers

Yes lots of people are going to lose but most should know that. If you buy below the market value you should at least break even anything above that you should know you will lose on. For many this is not about the profit and they are willing to lose the money.

A stockbroker was cold calling about a penny stock and found a taker.
“I think this one will really move said the broker, it’s only $1 a share.”
“Buy me 1000 shares.” said the client.
The next day the stock was at $2.
The client called the broker and said, “You were right, give me 5000 more shares.”
The next day the client looked in the paper and the stock was at $4.
The client ran to the phone and called the broker, “Get me 10,000 more shares said the client.”
“Great!” said the broker.
The next day the client looked in the paper and the stock was at $9.
Seeing what a great profit he had in just a few days, the client ran to the phone and told the broker, “Sell all my shares!”
The broker said, “To whom? You were the only one buying that stock.”

Anyone know how long it' takes to transfer funds from the zar trading account to the usd trading account?

Anyone ported / moved all their tfsa accounts to EE?

I am tempted! With the eft growth (its insane not to think about it... I am tempted)

Have a few grand in Easy Equities. USD and ZAR sides.

Currently cannot buy more Nokia (had like $100 or something)
Their mark up can sometimes suck balls depending on the share.
etc
Considering going a bit more pro. Recommendatoins?

I'm in the process of signing up with TD Ameritrade.

You can email them here and mention that you're in SA.

What investment is recommended in the USD account?

Another thing do you guys use EFT or SID?

Deposit into the ZAR account first and then convert it into USD?
