While I agree with trying to prevent clones. This is not the greatest idea. Firstly you could have multiple phones, so its not a fullproof plan. Then there is the issue that someone could get my cell number from the website. I dont have anything to hide from the legal channels in this country, but I have everything to hide from the scallywags. Personal details on the interwebs will always result in something bad for someone.

TBH it is very simple to get any information on anyone here. Granted it might be against certain aspects of the law but there are ways and means so I really wouldnt mind giving my cell number to RPM for the purpose of stopping trolls and clones.
Do you have any idea what information one can obtain? There is a list of services offered by some "friends", its quite scary really.

You don't have to have anything to hide to need the anonymity (relative anyway). Say you go on to become a top politician;), some of your enemies find out you used to be on a forum called MyBB. They dig up a bit more and find out you were a raging racist right winger, that sort of thing can come back to bite you in the rear.

Remember that DA guy who made the, "surly tribesman with a finger in the soup & an eye on the clock comment"? Didn't think he'd ever enter politics where comments like that can be very career limiting.

Meanwhile, everywhere else in the world electricity is cheap... right?. Must be the ANC to blame then.:rolleyes: How dare they attempt to expand capacity and meet their commitments to extend and reinforce our electricity infrastructure!
Fact is, electricity is not cheap.
I agree, Eskom mismanaged it - but the only difference, if it had been properly managed, is the the increases would have been gradual over many years, rather than sudden. Either way, infrastructure for huge parts of the country needs to built and generating capacity needs to be built.

And why is it wrong to say it? It has been true in the past and the government has not changed their colours spots or habits for years?

.... and new cars, massive bonuses and still .... less power. Why suddenly did we have less power cuts? All was a huge fsucking scam.
