Any ETA on services restoring? Extended downtime is causing some unhappy clients and potential loss of business. Did see you guys are busy on the status page - is there an ETA?

Engineers are busy working to get the hardware replaced. Our top priority is preventing data loss.

We hope to have services restored by 12PM today. This is an estimate and apologise in advance if deadlines are not met.

Surely you should have spare hardware on hand and be able to identify a hardware issue in less than 2 to 3 hours if that much..?

Yeah, and according to their status updates, they started investigating at roughly 7:30pm last night. I noticed problems on my sites way earlier than that.

I just hope this gets sorted soon. because I've got some very irate clients at the moment.
 
Update - We are currently performing two different tasks to restore service for rs04:

1) We have replaced the motherboard, memory module and raid controller and are attempting to boot the server. We’re currently seeing power related issues. Restoration is unfortunately taking longer than expected.
2) We’re pre-emptively restoring the server from backups on our cloud infrastructure in anticipation of worst case scenario.

We will post further updates as soon as possible.

Guys WTF is going on? I'm on holiday and have dozens of clients going bezerk at me? How can the downtime be this long?
 
Update - We are continuing to restore services to the cloud infrastructure.

We are unfortunately unable to honour the earlier estimated time for restore. Hardware and raid array issues persist.
Our team is hard at work to get services restored. We do not foresee service restoration before this evening.

Further updates will be posted as soon as they become available. Thank you for the continued support and patience during this time.

This is a joke right? It's up lke 80% of the time..
