My turn.
Been looking on and off for ages and need to pull the trigger soon. S.O. been window shopping (strongs hints
) so more or less know what she wants. We have similar tastes and TBH not much stands out. It's either faaaaar to common, off the shelf looking or its just a big ugly mess. I've eventually settled on a ring from Jack Friedman but it seems a bit expensive compared to other places.
EGL certified 0.435ct diamond, F colour, SI clarity, 18ct white gold, there are diamonds on the side to (Pave I believe its called). It will need to be made but it is a Jack Friedman collection ring. Cost about R36k. Decent or rip off? I'd gladly pay for the excellent service I have received and for convenience of not having to look around any more but if its a major rip then I must go look elsewhere.

Omw how prices have changed... If you don't mind working via email and phone I can give you my jewellery designers contact details but they based in Pretoria. Amazing job brilliant and professional service and best of all great price. Also have a look at palladium instead of white gold. It looks like platinum a fraction of the cost and doesn't need to be redone like white gold. Best route we went. 2 weeks to 5 years married and rings still look absolutely beautifulMy turn.

I had a similar problem as you. It was either not what I liked, or much too expensive.
In the end I used https://thediamondring.co.za/ for the engagement and wedding ring. You choose what you want and the size of the diamond. At the very least you can compare prices.
