Entry Level Cars

You realise that if everybody only ever buys second hand cars there will be only ex-Avis Corollas available?
You are worried that the majority of people will bother to apply basic maths and economics to their purchases?:ROFL::ROFL:

I agree with you, may be we as consumers are devaluing ourselves by continuing to buy such cars for so much money, no wonder the manufacturers are taking the SouthAfrican buyers for granted.

In fairness your Scoob only has power going for it and was of course second hand.

The package of features on a modern "entry level" car is really what it's all about to improve day to day comfort with power really being a wasted byproduct.

Entry levels cars today at 200k are completely different beasts than they were 10 years ago.

Got my wife a Suzuki Ignis after she had an accident in the Micra Active.
We both prefer the Suzuki. Roomier inside, the car is more responsive in city driving and the fuel consumption is excellent.

Yip thats why i refuse to buy a brand new car. With the way things are i doubt i ever will buy a brand new car unless i win the lotto.

I came across a demo 2018 Honda Brio for 160k. Automatic. There was no way I was going to pay 200k for a car
