eSim is available on CellC

I am asking why you would pick up a Galaxy watch over an Apple watch. Nothing to do with esims. You should try to keep up
On message #155 in this thread, the Cell C rep confirms, that at this time, Cell C does not support eSims on wearables. I seem to need to spell this out, if you have an Apple Watch, CC does not support it. Therefore, your observation of why would I pick a Galaxy Watch over an Apple watch either indicates that you are engaging in provocative commentary or you live in an iOS walled garden and think that anyone who chooses Android is making a mistake. In the latter case I don't care, but you are ruining the discourse.

As I said, your comment is off-topic and I imagine you spend your life making these banal, unhelpful posts. If I could block or filter your comments from being seen by me, I would.

I doubt you have any insights and can't be bothered to check your previous insightful posts...

How do you run out of QR codes sim cards lol
Hi

Thanks for reaching out.

We acknowledge that running out of eSIM QR codes is an unexpected situation, and we are actively working to address this issue swiftly. High demand has led to an unexpected depletion of our stock, and we are taking steps to replenish it as quickly as possible.

Almost 15 months have passed since the question about cell C esim for wearables was last asked. Does anyone know if cell c now supports esim on wearable? I asked a cell c representative at a store and she thought it may be but I was unconvinced.

Dear Kwaggawerner

Kindly be advised that some wearable devices like Apple and Samsung watches support eSIM. Please advise which wearable do you use so that we can enquire and revert to you.

Dear Cell C representative,
Thank you for your prompt reply. My preferred wearable is a Samsung galaxy watch active 2 with esim. It is dated and, I believe, the last Tizen OS watch. If this does not work please specify the oldest Samsung galaxy watch tested and oldest apple watch tested and I shall buy one of them.
Thanks in advance.

So I can go to the CellC store and order an eSIM for my Apple Watch now.
What’s the product code ?

Thank you for your inquiry and patience.

We regret to inform you that, at present, Cell C does not support eSIM functionality for wearable devices such as Samsung Galaxy Watches or Apple Watches. While eSIM support for wearables is in our plans, we do not yet have a confirmed timeline for its availability.

Okay, but that was also the story in 2021. That's nearly 4 years. Not a shred of additional detail.
So I don't believe you anymore, I hope you understand. There's either more to the story or it's not actually in the works.
Hi Mtubb93

Planning and support on eSIM for wearables is still ongoing. Exact ETA is not available at present.

Dear shifttymike,

We completely understand your frustration—and you’re right to question the delay. It has been a long wait, and we acknowledge that updates over the years haven’t provided the level of clarity or progress our customers deserve.

The truth is, while eSIM support for wearables has been explored, a number of technical and infrastructure challenges have caused delays in full implementation. That said, we are actively revisiting this with renewed focus, and your feedback only reinforces the urgency.

We genuinely appreciate your patience and honesty—it helps keep us accountable.

Regards,
Cell C | TM
