Eskom power cuts will continue this weekend

Guys, look at this in a different way. It’s Eskom’s way to encourage us to spend more time with our loved ones in a camping like environment, go to bed early and not spend so much time on our electronic devices.

Eskom announces Stage 4 power cuts

Eskom has announced that load-shedding will increase from Stage 2 to Stage 4 from 13:00 on Saturday. Rotational power cuts will continue until 22:00 tonight.

Load-shedding will also escalate to Stage 4 tomorrow — running from 08:00 until 22:00.

Funny thing is that restaurants are my saviour during these evening loadshedding slots. I go there until after my slot is over.
I have a suspicion he was being facetious because he owns a franchise restaurant and I'm sure he has backup power....

How they suffer no shame from managing our power along the same lines as a second-rate clown balancing a load of dinner plates is beyond me. It is very clear that central operations have only a tenuous grasp on what is going on in the field.
