I see it's hendrina station tripped 2 units, pretty sure that one was sabotaged the other day

That's true for all families that are affected, spend more time together, but I won't give Eskom the credit for it.

charge your existing laptop battery before load shedding starts -most laptop batteries should last 2.5 hours power outage cycle, if not its probably time you get a new battery.

Otherwise you are going to have to spend money on a small inverter trolley system, costing a lot more than a new laptop battery.

Thing is I use it on Photoshop and Illustrator, sometimes Premier Pro. So the battery not bad but apps I need to use it for are resource intensive. But thanks for the suggestion.

The discussion started with the R10k trolley type, you came in with your R200k setup. How does one stop the trolley inverter from using the grid to charge the batteries after the 8-10pm slot? Must one leave it unplugged causing the 50% SOC 2 x 100Ah LA batteries to drain overnight damaging them irreversibly waiting for sun the next day?

Depends on the trolley. But the axpert trolleys from geewiz should be configurable.
