Why would that kill people? Do people not dress warm or have blankets?Wonder how many people Eskom will kill this weekend with the load shedding and this weather.

Solar charges during day.Must he wait 8 hours to charge his flat battery? View attachment 1313104
That's true for all families that are affected, spend more time together, but I won't give Eskom the credit for it.Guys, look at this in a different way. It’s Eskom’s way to encourage us to spend more time with our loved ones in a camping like environment, go to bed early and not spend so much time on our electronic devices.
Absolutely. AA and BEE FTW.Not Eskom, the ANC government. They destroyed Eskom with AA, BEE, cadres and crime.
charge your existing laptop battery before load shedding starts -most laptop batteries should last 2.5 hours power outage cycle, if not its probably time you get a new battery. Can someone link something to power up my laptop during load shedding from Takealot.
It's equality African style. Everybody has equal access to zero electricity. Not Eskom, the ANC government. They destroyed Eskom with AA, BEE, cadres and crime.
Broken, sabotaged, whatwhat??“The loss of two Hendrina and one Lethabo Power Station units
Thing is I use it on Photoshop and Illustrator, sometimes Premier Pro. So the battery not bad but apps I need to use it for are resource intensive. But thanks for the suggestion.charge your existing laptop battery before load shedding starts -most laptop batteries should last 2.5 hours power outage cycle, if not its probably time you get a new battery.
Otherwise you are going to have to spend money on a small inverter trolley system, costing a lot more than a new laptop battery.
Once called blackouts, then renamed to loadshedding and now politically corrected: Power Cuts.Eskom power cuts this weekend as cold front rolls in
Eskom has announced that Stage 2 load-shedding will be implemented between 17:00 and 22:00 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the 21st and 22nd of May 2022.
The power utility had previously expected to run load-shedding until Friday. However, there is still a substantial shortage of generation capacity, resulting in Eskom having to extend the power cuts.
The discussion started with the R10k trolley type, you came in with your R200k setup. How does one stop the trolley inverter from using the grid to charge the batteries after the 8-10pm slot? Must one leave it unplugged causing the 50% SOC 2 x 100Ah LA batteries to drain overnight damaging them irreversibly waiting for sun the next day?Solar charges during day.
Depends on the trolley. But the axpert trolleys from geewiz should be configurable. The discussion started with the R10k trolley type, you came in with your R200k setup. Yeah, the PSW ones do but the R10k MSW ones as per the pic don't.Depends on the trolley. But the axpert trolleys from geewiz should be configurable.
I will not reduce my electricity usage. I'll carry on as usual.
Charging you more for less...Eskom will reduce it for you![]()
