Esther Park Coverage Problems 8ta Rep

Hey 8ta Rep

I have just got an 8ta sim with the 2+1gig deal only because the whole of Esther Park is shown as full 3G coverage on the 8ta map on the 8ta website.

When trying to register on Mobile Partner, I only get options of
VODA
MTN
CellC
SA02

No 8ta

Is there a problem in this area or has 8ta not really got coverage here, how can I find out?

I did phone the data support on 081 183 and they cant tell me.

Interesting!!!!

The call centre agent said he did not know what "SA02" was and I must have 8ta to choose from.

I did choose it and the sim was registered but still unable to get on the network.

Now quick question. Can you select MTN and is it accepted? If yes, then SIM is roaming to MTN like most prepaid SIMs and you need to phone them again.
