I was told that using revA will prevent aids, but not HIV. Also if you throw the new ethernet device it will always land on its feet!

Don't go and twist Poison Ivy's words. She merely wants to institute "managed liberalisation" so that she can manage the process of unmanaging the telecommunications industry...there is no spoon!

So what is your answer on Kenya, dropping their managed liberalisation in favour of opening up to the industry?

Those counter-revolutionary capitalist pigs...they don't understand the people's struggle to stop the public having uncapped broadband at acceptable prices! Don't they realise that free competition undermines our freedom to be oppressed by bloated, corrupt, inefficient monopolistic giants like Telkom (and Kenya Telkom)!

You know I wouldn't be surprised if Ivy had actually said something like that.

Well I heard a rumor that this thread was going pear shaped...

hmmm, not a rumour after all ;)

I prefer the thread this way...maybe it shouldn't be hijacked, but a new thread for this stuff would be fun. Some of those "I heard..." posts there are coffee-spitting funny.

Two questions:

What is ethernet?
Why does everyone seem excited about this?

After reading up on ethernet, I still don't see what the big fuss is all about.

so you can run the connection over a network.
If you only have one pc, then you don't need ethernet, but if you have a small business with say 3 - 5 computers then its crucial as they can all share the connection.

Coverage methinks will be geared towards curernt Prime coverage since the device is EV-DO.
Device has Wifi b/g.
