Server up after the Italy vs Slovakia game. Just in time to catch and reset the pos reactions. \o/
Awesome game. Italy came back hard and Slovakia rallied to hold em back. last 15mins was def edge of the seat stuff.
I was backing the underdogs. :D

How is the game playing with the current Seacom ***?

I'm on mweb so I'm expecting connectivity issues. I would try it, but we're under a wardec atm so I'm parking off in our POS...and like hell I am going to fly around nullsec with lag.
 
Eve is normally pretty lag respective. It's server lag that kills in large flee fights not your connection.
 
Ya I know its not exactly a twitch game...but imo that makes it more lag friendly than most.

However, if I'm chilling in an asteroid belt, doing a bit of ratting, its kind of important for reds to show up in local quickly and for me to be able to high-tail it out of there before I get jumped.

I'll take Worf's word for it though and log in tonight and see how it's going.
 
Wats up guys, Listen been playing a while now have 2 charrs 1 that im building up for mining and the other used for missions and fighting (6mill sp) i was in a corp that was based in high sec but looking for a corp in 0.0 any ideas of what i should do if i should skill up a bit more or go and learn wats wat down there and see what happens?
 
It still really depends on what you want to do as you get 0.0 PVP'ers and 0.0 Carebears.

One thing that help a lot is Blockade Runners (cloaky transport ships i.e. Prowler, Viator etc) in order to get stuff safely in and out.

*10 x red gang on gate* Damn you! What kind of coward puts a cloaking device on a transport.

Started the game on sunday, sjoe, genade, eish. Thanx to some guys on the afrikaans channel i'm getting there
 
I played this when it first came out for about a month, it was interesting and complex.

Just curious though, if starting over, is it quite hard to get into. ?

What do the new expansions bring to the game ? I can't remember if this was based on levels or what....
 
its alot easier to get into the game then it use to be. The tutorial system has been overhauled and there are speed bonuses to ur initial training for the 1st 1.6mil skill points i believe. Wish i had more time to play it
