Evetech Delivery Times

I ordered a Hikvision E2000 - 1TB NVMe SSD on the 5th of May 2020.

I was only informed that the item has been collected by Aramex today. It will likely be around 10 days from order (payment confirmed) to delivery.

I ordered 2 items from Wootware on the same day as the Evetech order and it was dispatched in a day and delivered in under 5 days.

The gaming laptop we ordered and paid for on the 1st of May was delivered in Cape Town this morning.

Still awaiting delivery of my new monitor that was ordered on the 5th of May, it hasn't been dispatched yet... hoping for today.

Update: It appears that the item was only booked with Aramex yesterday, even though Evetech stated that it would be dispatched yesterday.

"We would like to inform you that the order no: EVE319618 has been booked with ARAMEX Express courier to be dispatched later today. " (11/05/2020)

The Aramex Online Shipping Tracker indicates that the item was only dispatched by Evetech today. This would indicate a lead time of around 8 days or 6 business days (item was ordered before 5AM on the 5th of May 2020).

You ordered 32 inch LG? I am also waiting from 5th of May

So from Facebook they are it's almost ready for dispatching wtf does that mean almost ready?

Geesh, is warranty claim also such a mission?

My friend monitor was shipped 2 days ago, he showed me the tracking. He ordered after me :(
I know this is fraking annoying, I've emailed, I've facebooked messaged and still nothing wtf!!!

I sommer knew there would be a thread on this and here it is...

Ordered a memory module early morning on the 5th of May (which was in stock at the time). Yesterday I receive an email saying the item is out of stock and I should buy something else with a link to their site...

Now, taking a week just to tell me the item is now not in stock anymore is unacceptable even under these circumstances! There is not 1 memory module for the same price, which means I will probably need to pay another R100 - R300 and I really don't mind doing that, but how long will I need to wait AGAIN for payment to clear and and and and... I also asked for a refund rather yesterday, but since the email from them yesterday, dead silence.

Best thing is, there is someone responding to critique on social media within 30 - 60 minutes (without being able to assist unfortunately), but the mailboxes stay unattended it seems.

I ordered a monitor from Evetech last week Monday, now I do understand they are busy and even in good circumstances they aren't the fastest, but I'd like to find out whether anyone has ordered anything recently and if so how long it took for delivery?

I would've gotten a quote from their sales team so I can pick it up directly, but they take forever to respond to emails as well.

I ordered an LG 32inch 144hz monitor which was in stock when ordered.

Nice, let me guess, you also ordered the LG 32GK650F.

I ordered mine on Saturday the 9th, so still early days... still in payment received status.
I'm hoping for the best but fearing the worst, never used them before but couldn't resist that price which for once is actually internationally comparable... would be nice not to get f***ed as a Saffa for once.

Hope you get yours soon, can't wait to try mine out.
First time ever running >70Hz, even revamped my home office for the damn thing.

LG 32GK650F is correct yes, I would wait patiently, but when I ordered it my current 8 year old monitor had started flickering, but by now it's completely dead and as such it is really frustrating, ordered more than early enough to have gotten it before current died completely.

Ouch, yeah that sucks.
I had a proper 3 monitor setup with monitor arms etc.... then one night some crim. decided to relieve me of my monitors while I was sleeping.

Best part is he left the monitor stand but took the little vesa mounts with the screens. So now I've got an awesome monitor arm setup but can't use it since those vesa mounts are proprietary and I'd need a bloody workshop to build my own replacement.

So I got angsty and decided to go there myself after someone on Facebook said they'd arrange for me to pick it up and I had to just wait for an email stating I could collect.

They had one and I now have my monitor, hope it's not one which was returned or anything strange.

On the matter of Vesa mounts, I now need to get one as well.
