WTF are you serious? I'm 55km away and been waiting a week, you better not have taken mine.
 
Ordered a case from evetech more than 11 days ago, the message me today to say they don't have stock and can't complete the order.

My friend's order canceled now :(

I've been waiting from last week Monday, I kept irritating them, think they realised I wasn't going to stop so they gave in?

Laptop Lead Time: 7-8 Business days. (Depending on the configuration purchased upgrades might be required on the SSD and RAM)
Desktop Computers Lead Time: 9-10 Business days. (As we offer a large amount of customization all desktops are built from scratch)
Delivery: 2-4 Business days (Regional and or Remote can be up-to 3-6 Business days)

I have, however, followed up with your order and see the stock has been scanned out and allocated so your item should be getting ready for dispatch. As soon as it has left with Aramex you should receive your tracking details

I'm honestly at the point of telling the bank reverse that transaction, Evetech didn't deliver. And taking it up with Takealot.

You just gave me this idea but I see FNB charges 300 bux for a reversal when you send in the form... On a R1700 piece of hardware, that will get expensive to do and also pay a little more some place else... I guess I will be waiting this one out..
 
I've tried flooding their FB page now, also did a hellopeter, twittered them, mailed them. At this point I might just rock up at their offices, perhaps drop off a PC someone bought from me during the first lockdown.
 
I was also considering that Samsung from takealot and reversing the evetech sale, but the Samsung doesn't have freesync, also not the best reviews from what I've seen.
 
They answered me, after I flooded their FB page.
