Will@MWEB, where are you? Haven't see you around here for a while. Are you happy with the new status quo? If you were in Derek's shoes, would you go ahead with the implementation of the most hated throttling policy? If yes, why?

Your PR team seems non-existent these days. Are they not needed? What's your ultimate goal??? Hey, is the mythical limit keep changing like the location of the Island in Lost series????

Define abusers. I use the Internet never abused it. Funny that the Mweb "abusers" are anyone that use the internet effectively using their service as was advertised! Their advertisements were false and misleading and when they got the base they wanted they showed their true colours.

To Fudzy anyone who uses more than him is an abuser.

I think this is the crux. Looking at the general comments in social media, this is exactly why people become EX MWEB subscribers.

I am still ...and remain stunned by the silence on the issue. I also believe that this forum, which I now point people to, hold value in as much as it gives other consumers an insight and allows for an informed choice. It certainly helped me when I made the change. After all, we all pay for a service, and it's important ...I believe...our expectations match the service delivered for the price paid.

I also believe that despite the apparent view that the throttling is done, get over it ....there are many more people who daily are questioning or debating this and looking for alternates. The good people of this forum assisted me in my time of need, and I feel obliged to pay this forward,

There was even a 702 broadcast with people phoning in and complaining about this new policy. Yet it's still only 5 / 3% of us Mweb?

And so the tumble weed gains traction....

From freeing the web to trapping any customer in it, I'm genuinely more sad than angry about how this has turned out.

Lets ask MWEB guy what percentage of the client base is being affected by throttling - He was so proud when he mentioned it early this month (trying to find the post - So many pages) said only 0.3% were being affected. @ MWEB Guy if he reads this post - Please share with this figure with us

Well it depends on their subscriber base. People don't come online or phone in to vent about great service.

Standard operation is to try and censor away those who are not happy with the service. However due to the influx of unhappy they gave up on it mostly. Unless of course like yourself you target them with specific information. Mweb then actives the drones to sweep it under the carpet.... (even a few activated ones here)
