Extra R70 for Simfy from this month?

I opened a support ticket, and will provide feedback here:

I have the Afrihost+ add-on to my DSL capped package.

Simfy is/was freely included for the R99(now R109) subs.

On the latest invoice I am charged R70 extra for Simfy.

Is it not free/included anymore, or just a technical billing issue?

Seems to be common billing mistake, Simfy still free with Afrihost +.

Same here, my usual R346 monthly bill has shot up to R446 - The R10 / R20 increase per package is more or less understandable, but suddenly R70 for Simfy that I didn't even want? Were we even informed about this?

It looks like some of the Simfy products that are linked to the Plus+ packages were incorrected invoiced. Our Team has already started passing credit notes to those affected. Can you please PM me your details so that I can make sure that this has been done.

+1 My account has suddenly gone up R100 p/m because of this and an increase in base products?

If you exclude the R70 charge for Simfy is it more in-line with what you were expecting?

I received all of your PMs, and the charges for Simfy have been corrected and updated. You won't be charged for Simfy. :)
 
This reminds me, will go check my account later.

If you received the invoice earlier today, it may reflect the R70 charge, but it should have been updated on your Account History in the ClientZone under the Billing section.

Our developers are fixing these billing issues. Please feel free to PM us if you're still seeing any kind of problems.
 
So..who else still had to pay the extra R70 even though their Devs were fixing the problem ?

Your developers should be fixing the rollover data , not introducing new bugs to the billing routine

Our developers are definitely addressing this as quickly as possible. However, because of the way our systems and products are setup, it requires major development work.
 
10 months down the line != as quickly as possible

I can't go into the details, but this would require months of dev work and user testing, on top of the other work they have to do. So it is being addressed as quickly as we can, not as quickly as we'd like :(
