Hmmmm, so very very tempting...

More than tempting.

Thanks for the link:

They are about to be my project for this week.
I will build them both during the second test.

I just hope my eyesight is still up to it.
I haven't built a model in years, but I used to work in 1:160 and 1:200 scale and these are 1:18 scale, so I should be OK.

If anyone wants to join me this short video teaches the most important tips you need to know.

I will have the sheets printed by Office National with a colour laser printer on Card (100 / 150 gram - depending on the actual model - will report back on that).
I use Alcolin cold glue (wood glue), a steel rule and a knife with snap off blades (they blunt fast).
Two knives are a good idea with the blunt one used to score and the fresh one to cut.

We could make this the first race of 2017 but, as I have an unfair advantage of having built Paper Models befor, I will have to act as a Marshal :)

F1 Testing: Big week ahead for McLaren as Ferrari and Red Bull chase Mercedes in Test

After an intriguing first week in Barcelona, teams now just have four days left of testing before the 2017 championship officially begins. And it's fair to say some have more to work on than others.

World champions Mercedes seem to have once again embraced the technical changes, taking to Formula 1's 'rules refresh' seamlessly as they finished Test One with the fastest time and the most laps.

Still, perhaps Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas' lack of running on Day Four thanks to an electrical issue, along with the possible engine concerns back at base, will give challengers such as Ferrari some hope for Test Two and beyond.

If the Scuderia weren't the most impressive team last week they were certainly a close second. Indeed, the often hard to please Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen both gave their SF70-H a cautious thumbs up. But Ferrari have often impressed in the winter before flattering to deceive once the season begins, and the upcoming four days could be a good indicator of how just good their work in Fiorano has been, with their rivals set to unleash their full potential.

Red Bull certainly fall under that bracket, having struggled for reliability and outright pace so far. The expectation is that Adrian Newey's RB13 will begin to look a lot different as Test Two develops. Drivers and management have conceded, however, that they may not be able to cut the power deficit to Mercedes until mid-season.

The same can be said about junior team and fellow Renault-powered outfit Toro Rosso, whose no-show on the timesheets on Day Four leaves them relying on a strong second week. They're currently bottom of the distance-covered leaderboard, just behind McLaren.

While talk of a divorce from engine-suppliers Honda has been laughed off by team boss Eric Boullier, the Woking team need a dramatic improvement from their new-for-Test Two power unit. The infrastructure, heritage and deep pockets of McLaren certainly point at success in 2017, but having also finished second-bottom in the timesheets for fastest laps, the team simply have to bounce back - not least to keep Fernando Alonso happy.

While not facing a pre-season crisis, Mercedes-powered challengers Force India and Williams may also feel they underachieved last week.

The latter, in particular, needs more running after Lance Stroll's two crashes. Felipe Massa opens the test for Williams, with Stroll back in the FW40 on Wednesday afternoon.

Renault, Sauber and Haas, meanwhile, will hope for more of the same. All three believe their new cars are giant steps forward, and perhaps rightly so with the Test One final standings placing them fourth, fifth and seventh respectively in the fastest laps from a team perspective.

DRIVER LINE-UP - Tuesday 7th March

Mercedes: Lewis Hamilton (AM) and Valtteri Bottas (PM)
Red Bull: Daniel Ricciardo
Ferrari: Sebastian Vettel
Force India: Esteban Ocon
Williams: Felipe Massa
McLaren: Stoffel Vandoorne
Haas: Kevin Magnussen
Renault: Jolyon Palmer and Nico Hulkenberg
Sauber: Pascal Wehrlein

It's a pleasant morning here at the Circuit de Catalunya – sunshine breaking through and not a truck to dump water in sight. Glorious.

Gone, banished, history are the awful memories of how last week ended – hopefully we kick off this crucial final test with plenty of running from the get-go.

MCLAREN READY TO GO
McLaren will be hoping for a much smoother week of running this week, after changing five engines in the four days of week one of testing

Good morning from @Circuitcat_eng. The sun's out and Stoff's behind the wheel as the second pre-season test gets underway.

Eric Boullier, the McLaren boss, will be speaking to the media this afternoon.

Let's hope for his sake, not to mention Stoffel Vandoorne and Fernando Alonso's, Eric has something positive to report this week.

Last week's two media summits were stark, succinct and rather uncomfortable. For all the wrong reasons, McLaren are once again in the news for all the wrong reasons.

After all sorts of doom-mongering in the Italian press over the winter, Ferrari made a surprisingly strong start to testing with times to rival Mercedes last week - but there remains a nagging doubt among many, was it really what it seemed?

The Scuderia will hope to continue in that eye-catching vein this week, although we won't be hearing much from their drivers again - Raikkonen and Vettel only have one very short media session apiece this week.

Are Ferrari deliberately trying to do all their talking on the track after years of disappointment?

Go go go! Track is green, and the second week of testing is underway.

Outlaps ahoy! Vettel, Massa, Ricciardo and Vandoorne join the party.

Hamilton's emerged in his Mercedes – no recurrence of the 'electrical fault' that kept him in the garage during Friday morning's wet running.

Williams missed a lot of running last week, so Brazilian Felipe Massa is out for the team!
Red Bull seem to be working on their first run, with the car equipped with gantry sensors, called an aero rake .
