Facelifted Duster busts into SA

Been eyeing one of these for a while, can anyone offer some input on parts/reliability etc? From what I've heard they perform pretty well!

Guess it depends on what you want performance wise. It's a big lump of metal for that little engine.

Need something that can handle dirt/off tracks well. Only really looking at these because a 2nd hand 4x4 1.5dci version is quite cheap

Had one as a rental and I must say - I was surprisingly happy. A bit under powered but I don't think there are a lot of competition for that price

I've heard very good things about that specific model. I know of someone who is very happy with his!

Hopefully new 1.2T 92kw motor comes to the SA lineup.

Dacia Duster facelift to get Goodwood debut

The facelifted Dacia Duster will make its debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, with a variety of revisions over the outgoing model.

In facelifted form, the Duster has been subject to exterior styling tweaks, with more geometric headlight clusters and subtle tweaks to the front end.

Under the bonnet, a punchier, turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.2 TCe unit with 123bhp is new to the Duster range, managing 46.3mpg in two-wheel drive, and 44.1mpg in all-wheel drive format. CO2 emissions for the 1.2 TCe 125 are a claimed 138g/km.

A new Prestige spec has also been added to the Duster line-up, sitting above the current Laureate trim, and topping the range at £16,495 for the dCi 110 with all-wheel drive. The two-wheel drive version of this car will be on display at Goodwood.

Prestige trim adds 16in diamond-cut alloys, a touchscreen infotainment system with sat-nav and a reversing camera to the Lauréate spec, and is priced at a £900 premium over the previously range-topping Lauréate trim level.

New upholstery has been added from bottom-spec upwards, and a DAB radio has also been added to the standard kit on offer. Dark carbon finish dashboard trim and satin chrome centre console and steering wheel trim have also been added.

The Duster’s options list has been bolstered with new 16in diamond-cut alloys, rear parking sensors and a reversing camera and part-leather upholstery available as optional extras. A new shade of metallic green paint has been added too.

The facelifted Duster now starts at £9495 for the entry-level Access trim. Dacia is already taking orders for the facelifted model, with first customer deliveries expected to start in July. Dacia will also bring other models from its range to display at Goodwood.
