Feedback please: ADSL + telkom voice services

As an ADSL subscriber do you use the Telkom voice service?

Mostly ADSL, voice as backup but use it very rarely

Florida, Gauteng, 2 meg profile on 4mbit line
 
Well... I would like to pay separately, but I can't. Would use another voice provider if there was available, that's f'sure...

I purely pay for ADSL but I am forced to have voice with Telkom which I object, it is my choice as a tax payer to choose what services I require from a public company and not have services forced upon me.

Don't use the voice service, use Skype for all my voice calls.
 
Closer plan 4; wife uses the free national calls after hours (up to an hour per call) very extensively!!

I hate all phones whether fixed or mobile... have a Nokia E71, like the apps and utilities, sometime don't bother to answer calls - I love Caller ID and the "Silence - I Kill You" button!!
 
We've got 2 lines and both use the voice service... Have had no problems do far :)
 
Only ADSL, No handset connected to the line even.

Closer 5. The land line is mainly utilized for the wife-to-mother-in-law-hotline.
 
4mbps - Rosebank, JHB.
Do have a phone attached, but really wouldn't have an issue getting rid of it. Less than 20 calls in the 2.5 years we've had it.
 
Work 2 lines 4096K each, we use no voice
Home 1 4096K, I use no voice. Total waste of money. It must be optional for voice portion.
