Fiber - Springs

I saw them today pulling (Hauling) pipe installation Checkers Towers right through industrial area right up to Edelweiss up to scrap yard. Think this is to fiber our subawards.
Then the one at Springs Mall needs to be completed up to Edelweiss.

Don't know of any for Strubenvale or Casseldale. Don't know if Cell towers will supply fiber here.

It seems my hollow pipe has a kink. They cant get the fiber trough.
I tried some weed-eater gut also stops close to the pavement box.
The need to dig up again and replace pipe.
 
It seems they are still busy in Selection Park. Last week Thursday my son saw Vuma in there street.

It seem not much progress is happening here in Edelweiss. Could be very slow that I don't see them working.
Seen a cabinet was installed purpose of this is unknown to me.
Also not much happening in the manholes. Fiber is hanging like a wig on a womans head.
Quite a lot still needs to be done. Three big areas need to be covered and completed.
Testing once everything is done will take a while.
Will they commission one area at the time or wait for all three to be done.

Don't have Facebook. So can't comment.
It makes sense to a point, they were the worst area. Only ADSL for that area, also not that great.
LTE was none exitance in that area, my work buddy only had ADSL. Could never subscribe to LTE.
Could be a strategic move to take away subscribers from Telkom.

Same here in selection park

Apparently the main node is in Casseldale , and the line between selection park and Casseldale has to be redone , hence our delay

Well the wait is nearly over. They did a big yellow fiber cable up to Spar, before Casseldale was trenched.

Then gent I was harassing on Friday close to the duck pond , was busy with the new cable ( very cool how they put it in)
 
So a friend in Selection Park just message me saying he got a call from Vodacom (Yes we know they have poor service) to install on Thursday. I cancelled my order i place over 3 months with them(Vodacom) two weeks ago... No DSL (Cancelled) stuck on slow rain as I'm on the edge of the coverage...

Just called them, they say build still in progress :(

His install is happening, Vuma sent him a Appointment confirmed notification. Here's hoping the system for "Live" is just behind.
