Hi
So on my street and a few others I've notice they started marking off and trenching. I asked the guy working what it was for and he said it's for Fibre. Yay!!!!

But he seems to contracted by some other company to do the trenching because he doesn't know for which company they putting the fibre for.
They have rented vehicles so I couldn't figure it out that way.

We had fibre put in our area years ago but it was for a cellphone towers backhaul. So does anyone or any ISP know whose fibre this is ?
It's in the Raisethorpe area btw.

MetroFibre is currently busy with a massive roll-out in PMB, so it might be them...

So I spoke to the people installing the fibre and they confirmed it's FTTH and it's being done by SADV

I have investigated and it is SADV who Vumatel actually bought out so it is a great open access network. The installer is Telelanga. See pictures below.

Thanks for this, we didn't get this flyer. I spoke to the councillor and he said they expect it to be done in 6 weeks. So I believe they going for 1st October to go live.
