Fibre in Strand

My neighbourhood (Victoria Park) will be going live at the end of the month.
Can you guys, who are currently on the Octotel network please provide feedback regarding ISP's you are using; along with your experiences and costs?
Why are there costs differences for the same packages when compared to other areas in CT?
One would think that a 10Mbps/5Mbps package on the Mitchells Fiber network would be the same price for that same package on Octotel.
Also interested in learning who has coupled a VOIP solution to their packages.
Thanx

Anybody having intermittent connectivity? Strand via Octotel.
Goes off and back on every few minutes.
Router reports: unable to get IP address from DHCP server

EDIT: Offline indeed. Once again the Strand node having issues.

Could possible be due to them currently trenching; blowing fiber and trying to get Victoria Park live by month end?

Hello,

I'm considering a move from Axxess to Mind the Speed, simply because they have good pricing. But first, I'm curious about the latency on their network.

Are there perhaps any Mind the Speed users (via Frogfoot) who would be willing to have a look on https://www.azurespeed.com/Azure/Latency?

My current results are as follows:

Central US: 269ms
West Europe: 172ms
South Africa North: 31ms
South Africa West: 13ms

Thanks

Here you go (Frogfoot/Strand):

Central US: 256ms
West Europe: 165ms
South Africa North: 27ms
South Africa West: 9ms

Thanks, appreciate it.

Thanks, but they seem a bit expensive. Compared to Mind the Speed, I would pay about 23% more for the package I want.

Ok i see... mind me asking which package is that?
