Find my Iphone ever wrong?

Thanks for all the advice guys, think I should just be upfront and honest with her. Can tell you one thing though, she will definitely not trust me anymore, cause its going to seem as if im spying on her, and she will probably deny it anyway...sigh, tough times.

I would do the same. I don't keep things that I feel may jeopardize a relationship to myself. I speak to my partner. IIRC, you need her username and password to track her phone using find my phone (I haven't used it in a very long time so don't remember details)... if so, did she give them to you or did you obtain them without her knowledge? If she gave the details to you then explain that you were worried because she hadn't answered the phone and it was late. If she doesn't understand that, she is being a bit of a bitch. Good luck.

It used to be my phone, so my log in details still works. Can see this is going to be a **** storm...

Get it over and done with, mate. If you don't talk to her about it you are going to get torn up inside about it and then when she does do something out of the ordinary that doesn't sit well with you, you are going to explode! Also, it will eat away at your trust for her. Let it out, have a fight, sort it out and keep trucking.

Before you approach her about it test the 'Find my iPhone' app a few times while she is at work to make sure that it shows her to be where she definitely is. You can't have any margin for error if she denies it.

15km is pretty much definitely her not being at work though. Ouch.

Another quick question. How long after you checked her phone did she come home? I am not sure what are she works in. Perhaps it is in an isolated or remote place and she needed to travel a bit to get smokes or a pie or whatever. Maybe even detour to put in petrol or shag the boss...

shag the boss, lol. Nope, she takes taxi, so couldn't be to fill up or any detours. The app showed last seen online 30min ago, at 5:15 pm yesterday, so at 4:45 pm, that was the last time the app picked her up, and it was at a quite a far a way place. She got home at bout 5:45pm.

I don't know about your wife, but mine would not impressed if I was spying on her (which is in essence what you were doing, tracking her without her knowledge).

There's two scenarios:
* It was innocent - bringing it up is going to make things worse
* It wasn't innocent - bringing it up is unlikely to yield the truth, and it is going to make things worse

Seeing as you're already spying, I suggest you try catch her with something concrete, or drop it.

Nothing the glorious Apple makes can ever be wrong EVER. If an iPhone seems to be giving you a wrong location, it's obviously the earth's surface or the universe itself that's wrong.

But seriously, I doubt it would be that far off. Do some more investigationings and see if you find anything.

Edit: As per the post above mine, find something concrete.

Maybe she's working under ...erm... covers?

FTFY.

I would suggest trying to find out how accurate the iPhone is before doing anything. If it's more accurate than 15kms, perhaps it's time to sit down and have a little chat.

If they use the same apple ID as most people in a household would they can see all the devices using those details on find my device. Remember these are the same details you use for the store and iCloud.
