Firefox 3

Firefox is the Bees knees! It can chop wood and cook Stews! ;)

I can't live without it! :D

The reason is that Firefox offers handy features such as tabbed browsing — the ability to open different websites in the same browser window

Every browser and their dog now has tabbed browsing:rolleyes:.

Yawns
opera is the 1 and only.

For once I have to agree with Boodles:D.

On my laptop I have all 3 but for work I use a flash drive and Opera portable kicks Firefox portable's ass:D

Opera V9.5 Beta is sitting at 71MB with around 20 tabs open including various forums, gmail, you tube, ftp :)
FF has never been my cup of tea.
Loving the search everything and anything feature in Opera:)

Not bad, just checked FF and its up to 235MB. Luckily I've got enough RAM so it doesn't really matter.

517MB :o

Lets not count the number of tabs and open instances of FF now, ok...

Edit: Still using FF 1.5.0.7 :D

None of my youtube plugins work with FF3 (at least the last time I checked), so I will stick with FF2 until the official release.

Yup and I'm using a beta version of Opera which I know is a memory hog compared to 9.27 :)

Using FF3 RC1 atm on vista,xp and kubuntu, no memory leaks for me :) Only reason I use IE is because the UJ portal site doesnt like anything other than IE...sigh

I love Firefox :) Just now it warned me about a nasty little website that I visited. So handy...

To think, with Internet Explorer after that I would most likely not be here typing this message :D

IE also warns about phishing these days, but I generally turn it off as I don't plan to visit too many such sites... I just check up on it when required.

I tried Opera, but I hate the fact that it can't remember all my passwords, and it's two buttons + click to open in a new tab by default... I'm lazy :p...

I only use FF. Easier for me cause I have to switch between windows and linux boxes a lot..

Huh.. what browser were you using? It has the wand which remembers all your passwords by default, and I don't change any of the options with tabbed browsing. Do you want every link to open in a new tab instead of reusing the current one?

I actually hate that the default FF install doesn't have a New Tab button. I had to find out the crtl+t shortcut at first just to get the tab bar for a new google search. :/

In FF 1.5.0.7 I just double click in a open space there at the tabs and it opens a new one for me. Although I still need to figure out how to open one, quick quick, when there is just one open though :o
