I'm in urgent need of advice. My Firefox keeps crashing when I open it and sometimes Windows explorer crashes too, after FF crashes. I'm now forced to use IE
Please help me out. I hate IE. I've re-installed FF but to no avail.

If it starts with no add-ons enabled then you know where the problem lies :) Then you can start enabling them one at a time until you find the one responsible for the instability.

Ok it opens fine with no add-ons, but the thing is, I've deleted my profile, which means I have no add-ons, but still get those errors. Plus I re-installed it but still getting those errors. Perhaps I should try uninstalling first and then see. Thanks so much buddy :)

It was doing that to me as well on all my computers. Went through a phase. Seems to be better now. But it was weird. Was crashing on startin up Firefox. And it did it on all my computers.

I was quite worried cos at times it would crash upon opening, and other times it would crash when I go to my router settings. Then I was forced to use IE  OMG what a crap browser that is. So slow and also kept crashing - sometimes also upon opening and other times the tabs loaded so heavily that Windows Explorer had a buffer overflow  and crashed.
Thankfully, IE worked after I did a "Last known good config..." and that allowed me to do some things. Then I was able to fix FF. Glad it's all working now.
