Firefox constantly crashes

Did you guys know that WKJ?:beanie wants to buy a 30" LCD?

I think for all the work he does on this forum, MyBroadband community should come together and help him by organising him one.

Just a thought, use it, don't use it.

Darn, oh well I tried all the usual and it does exactly as M's does. Well for now I am using Flock instead, works great. You ever used it?

no, only used Konqueror in Linux other than Firefox.

Will give Flock a shot if it is nice and fast.

How does online banking work for you guys in other browsers?

Well I use FNB, works pretty well in Firefox and Flock. You?

I've tried K-Meleon as well, online banking works just fine :)

Those things are way to expensive, I'll never pay that amount for a monitor :p Nice thought, though (but please don't, I do it for the love) ;)

Ok so I've completely given up on FF. After numerous crashes I've had enough. Now it won't even open any page. I was having problems opening certain websites. I'm now using Flock. Great browser and looks almost exactly like FF in many ways. I've also installed some FF addons to Flock and it works fine.

It's strange, since I haven't had one Firefox crash since I've started using it years ago

The computer deities aren't smiling upon you, it seems :D

I am gonna have to start playing around with it... cos if I want to switch to using Linux more and more I wanna know that I don't have to get out of it and back into windows.

I have been using IE for all my internet banking, in fact those are the only links I have in IE.

I just used it from years ago, cos back then the banks would not support any other browser.

Good lad:D, seriously though how you finding Flock so far?

@Garyvdh if you want IE in Linux just install IE4Linux, works fantastically, you would think its a native application

Working so well so far. Great app :)

Linoman - The FF settings will be found in ~/.mozilla/ (they are in the same place no matter which distro or desktop manager you use).
