Hi all!

How much do you get back on eBucks since the "new rules" have been applied from 1 July 2018?
I am currently with Nedbank and get back around R150 on my Greenbacks but seeing all these cashback offers on fuel, Checkers, etc. makes me want to consider moving to FNB.

What do you think?

No-one knows yet - First allocation on new rules is 13th August.

My estimate is about 20000 ebucks.

How easy/difficult is it to get to level 5? I just did a hypothetical calculation using the calculator and could only get Level 1 :erm:

10 eBucks = R1.00 if I am correct?

Fundamentally yes, but there's also discounts at the ebucks shop based on your reward level, so someone on level 5 can get 40% off some stuff.

Ah I see! May I ask which banking package you have and how much you pay per month for fees?

Most users get at least their banking fees back.

Users on Lev5 get about R1000 worth of benefits a month (10 000eb) or more.

Ah I see! May I ask which banking package you have and how much you pay per month for fees?

Private wealth account, probably around 500 bucks a month in total.

I average ~ 8000 eB (R800) a month and am on Level 5 Premier
