Six spread over more than one day (the link appears to have been at 12:07 on a date before the 25th of May, then a transaction at 14:32 (card ending 7411)). There are further transactions on the 25th of May (I assume the transaction at 02:58 is their salary coming in, there are purchases at 11:27, 11:34, 16:33) on the same card ending in 7411.
those notifications are way more than 20minutes apart..
There are 3 sides to a story... The problem is always getting to the 3rd one, the truth. After the previous joker who messed up on his own it makes one skeptical if it comes round again.Ftfy
Mybb is filled with the most notorious trolls and clowns. No other forums I'm a member of whether local or international, has such a high level of douchebaggery. And it's always the same muppets.
Wouldn't be the first time that's happened. It's been reported on before.I really really doubt that by some magic, a system that can ensure millions of cards were not usable before being activated, suddenly let one slip through?
Is she SURE she was not phished, smished or vished?
Applying Occam's Razor here - it's more likely that the weakest link in the security chain got compromised than a system fault - but it is possibleWouldn't be the first time that's happened. It's been reported on before.
They send those sms to everyoneScammers do seem to be targeting FNB clients at the moment. Just got some vodacom points program message.
Should learn from your mistake and move to real banksI need some help om a situation.
My sister's FNB account got hacked and they've empty the account took a big amount of money.
The card used for the Fraud was her new card number delivered the previous day.
The time the Fraud happened the card was still sealed in the envelope unopened. Not even even activated on her FNB app. She phoned FNB Fraud department and they did an investigation. Now FNB don't want to pay her back. What let me think that the fraud is coming from inside the bank.
I'm very disappointed in FNB with this matter.. I'm also with FNB and I want to move my account now because of this.
Did anyone experienced a similar situation? Or have any advice on going forward to resolve this situation. She is really in a need of her money to take care of her children..
The very first notification is the link to Apple pay probably, why not report it then?

Can I still get that washing machine if I am a Telkom customer?I am sure everyone is targetted, and it doesn't matter which number, all have 5340 points. The myriad internet suffixes just now make it easier for the scammers to make their domain seem legit, like vodacom.love.
