Sounds like a good idea to me, as others have said the ads here are usually actually relevant and often even useful.

Absolutely no problem, they are not in your face but you do notice them so I guess the sponsors and visitors win...

I have no problem with them except that you are not charging enough for them....

Haven't formulated a lasting opinion yet but my initial one is that they're relatively unobtrusive. You should be scoring more money as ad-blocking probably wont have any effect on them.

Really just wanted to make sure I wasn't losing my mind.
